The Moon Society traditionally "piggybacks" on the National Space Society's International Space Development Conference.
We are affiliated with NSS, and it makes much more sense to participate in this "Big Tent" conference than to try to go it alone with far less resources. ISDC is the conference at which to meet and work with other society members and leaders.

- The Moon Society's Director of Project Development, David A. Dunlop, is chairing the Moon Track for the second year in a row.
- Former Director Dr. Peter J. Schubert, head of our Space and Environment Project Team, is chair of the ISDC's new Space and Environment Track.
- Moon Society exhibits, including our Solar Power Beaming Desktop Demonstrator
- Moon Society literature
- Opportunities to listen to and talk to many other speakers involved in Lunar Science and Exploration and in the Return to the Moon
- Much to learn about space in general
- It goes without saying that Moon Society members are free to choose to take in other events that may be scheduled for the same time slot as our own special events. There are always multiple things going on at an ISDC
Need a Roommate to share hotel expenses?
If you would like to share a room with another Moon Society member in order to minimize costs, please contact Society President Peter Kokh, ("ISDC Roommate" in the subject line) noting whether or not you need a bed to yourself, or are willing to share a bed, whether you require smoking or nonsmoking. No promises, but we will do our best to find you a match.
Conference Registration rates go up as the date draws near
If you can commit, you may save money by registering as soon as you can.
Moon Society members are eligible for the NSS Member Rate. Let us know and we will be happy to verify your Moon Society membership status.
